How we work it out
kg of nutrient per hectare = product rate × analysis % ÷ 100. Cost per kg N = price per tonne ÷ (10 × N %). New Zealand labels give elemental N, P, K and S; if a label shows P₂O₅ or K₂O instead, multiply by 0.436 (P) or 0.83 (K) first. The quick-fill values are textbook analyses, not any one company's product - always use the analysis on your own bag or docket. This tool does the arithmetic only: how much to apply, and when, depends on your soil tests, your nutrient budget and your regional council's rules, so talk to your fertiliser representative or farm consultant. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
